Final Works
Artwork for Nicolaus Gerry and Natalia Permatasari for their wedding celebration. Exploring Javanese theme inspired by "Gunungan" from Wayang (Javanese Shadow Puppet) as the opening and closing of a performance stage. Depiction of entrance in the center of Joglo (traditional vernacular of Javanese people) with pigeons flying swirl to it's open door, a couple of deer and Mega Mendung clouds, hold the meaning of a brand new days on matrimonial life and a wish for their happy ever after marriage. An honor to me for creating this artwork as an old friend and as a javanese myself.
